Interested job seekers can now apply for a job with RailCrewXpress through an online application page. To become one of the approximately 2,500 drivers employed by RailCrewXpress job seekers will need to pass a few basic requirements. These basic requirements include being the age of 21 or older, passing e-railsafe requirements, passing a criminal background check, passing a drug test, and having a clear MVR for the past seven years. Applicants that are not weeded out by the basic requirements can continue by clicking the Apply Online button found on the application page.
Returning applicants can click the appropriate link to pick up where they left off on a previously started application. First time applicants will be taken to the job application online form where they will need to set up a login account with an email address and password to begin the process. Once the email address and password is confirmed applicants will need to verify which location they are applying for and divulge how they heard about the position. Next applicants will need to enter personal information such as first name, last name, social security number, address, city, state, zip code, primary phone number, date of birth, and gender. After entering all of the personal information applicants will need to confirm they meet the basic requirements of being 21 years old or older and having a valid drivers license. Applicants will also need to confirm if they have had one or more moving violations and preventable accidents in the past three years. After entering all of the required information applicants will be able to continue towards completion of the application.
