Changing wireless carriers can be a headache that many consumers would like to avoid. However, when $650 is offered to take care of prior carrier balances and termination fees there is a good chance plenty of those consumers will suck it up and take just some Tylenol. Right now cell phone plan members can receive up to $650 in credits per line from AT&T when they trade in their smartphones and buy new ones on AT&T Next. Those who like the idea of the $650 credit offer can go to the AT&T Shop 120 page and click the Shop Now button to get started.
I’m still a little confused….please tell me more…..
- Customers who find a phone and decide to switch services will need to port their number from any eligible carrier during the activation process
-
Once the new AT&T smartphone is received customers will need to trade in their current smartphones (instructions on how to do so can be found at the AT&T Shop 120 page)
- After the trade in has been completed customers will need to finish registration and either upload or mail in their final bill from the previous carrier
Customers will be mailed a Prepaid Visa card loaded with up to $650 in credits once all of the AT&T Shop 120 promotion eligibility requirements have been completed. Final bills from previous carriers will need to be uploaded or mailed within 60 days of porting the phone number in order to be eligible. Customers who are hoping to take advantage of the offer should be prepared to stay on top of their payments as accounts must be in good standing for 45 days in order to receive the credit.
