A few extra dollars may be a bit of an understatement as America’s Most Desperate Landscape Giveaway will award the Grand Prize winner a starling figure of $50,000 in cold hard cash (actually awarded as a check or wire transfer). Those who are interested in filling the role of the Grand Prize winner can register for a shot at the loot by going to the DIY Network Yard Sweeps page and entering an email address to begin. Participants who want to pass the good news along to friends and family on social media can click the links provided at the top of the page (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest). Those who feel like sharing can click the Vote link posted to the DIY Network Yard Sweeps page to let the channel know exactly how they plan to spend the $50,000.
A Quick Inspection of the Rules
- Must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 21 years of age at entry in order to be eligible
- The contest begins on May 10th, 2017 and runs just short of a month before closing on June, 6th 2017
- America’s Most Desperate Landscape Giveaway online entrants are limited to 1 entry per day person
- The Grand Prize winner will be selected through a random drawing to be held around June 27th, 2017
Participants who enter by mail can enter as many times as they wish but are limited to 1 entry per envelope. Those who do decide to go with the mail entry method will need to make sure the correspondence is post-marked no later than June 6th, 2017 and mailed to PO Box 51412, Knoxville, TN 37950. Participants who want to find out who won the prize can request the name of the winner by writing to PO Box 52822, Knoxville, TN 37950 between July 13th, 2017 and July 27th, 2017.
