Please note resumes can be uploaded via Microsoft Word or a user can copy and paste text from a current resume (via Microsoft Word is the recommended method). Users will be asked to provide an email address so they can receive job matches, job offers, workshops/fairs, seminars and webinars alerts via email. Job seekers will have the option to sign up for one of two accounts: BASIC account or the PLUS account (the differences are shown below)

Businesses in the state of Illinois also have the chance to create an account on Job Link to lure employees and create a job opening. The Illinois JobLink employer account is 100% FREE and allows a business to post a job (i.e. fry cook, security guard), search a database filled with thousands of resumes and maintain a company profile that can be viewed by thousands of potential employees.
