Old RadioShack Gift Card
- Consumers with unused RadioShack Gift Cards that have balances could be entitled to money
- File a claim by completing form online or by sending form in the mail
A designated webpage has been set up to assist consumers affected by the settlement in the RadioShack bankruptcy case. The settlement has been approved by a federal bankruptcy judge and the RSH Liquidation Trust has been authorized to review and approve claims in accordance with the Gift Card Settlement Order. To view the Gift Card Settlement Order consumers will need to click the appropriate link on the designated website to download a copy.
Consumers who believe they are entitled to money back will need to take action and file a claim by the claim filing deadline of December 2nd, 2016. To file a claim consumers will need to fill out a form and send it in electronically or by mail. Consumers who have no clue what the balances of their gift cards are do not have to worry as they will still be able to file a claim for review.
Gift cards that were purchased at a RadioShack store, RadioShack’s website, or from one of RadioShack’s authorized sellers will be treated as a priority in the case and users that purchased through these channels will receive 100% of their gift card balance as long as they get into gear and file a claim by the deadline of December 2nd, 2016. Gift cards obtained without a purchase will not be treated as a priority.
Consumers that wish to file the claim electronically will need to scroll to the bottom of the designated webpage where they will need to enter their name and email address in order to access an online p\Proof of Claim form that will require consumers to enter their contact information and gift card serial number. Consumers wishing to file by regular mail will need to click on the link provided on the designated webpage to print off a copy of the Proof of Claim form. Once completed consumers simply will need to address the form to RS Legacy Corporation fka RadioShack Corporation Claims Processing Center c/o Prime Clerk LLC Po Box 225392 New York, NY 10150 and then pop it in the mail box.
