If you’ve received a FEDChex mailer stating that you have a balance due, be aware that this is from debt collection agency, so it’s important to take care of it as soon as you can. FEDChex and their website, PayOffClaim.com, are not a scam, so it’s important to make sure you square away any debts you have listed with them. FEDCheck understands that things happen, and that everyone encounters financial difficulty. What they’re trying to do is make paying your past due debts as easy as possible.
To logon to make a payment, all you need is your FEDChex account number, your name, and your telephone number. If you don’t have the mailer in front of you, you can still give FedChex a call to make a payment. You do not need to know your account number if you’re calling to pay.
If you don’t have a way to pay online, you can pay with either MoneyGram or Western Union. Just go to a payment kiosk for either one of those, use the FEDChex reference ID, and make your payment.
